Massage therapy is a specific series of movements that manipulate tissue, which opens layers of muscle restoring the circulation of blood and lymphatic fluid.  Massage reduces your heart rate, increases circulation, relaxes muscles and promotes healing at the cellular level.  Massage increases production of endorphins which leads to improved mental/emotional outlook.  Some of the conditions massage has been shown to improve are: fibromyalgia, headache, muscle pain, back pain, arthritis, occupational injuries, sports injuries, sciatic pain, whiplash, tendinitis and scoliosis.
